Etowah County is located in North East Alabama. Our beautiful mountains,rivers,& Lakes, make it one of the true treasures of the south. The history of our county is also a true treasure. This Society is dedicated to preserving our history for future generations. From its beginings as the home of the native American peoples, to civil war legacies, to the industrial age, the county is steeped in cultural and arts history. Our history continues today, with our efforts to preserve our past!
